Embassy of Hungary and UNIMAS Organized Classical Music on Piano and Flute

Kota Samarahan, 22nd November 2019 (SNN): The Embassy of Hungary collaboration with Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) has organized a classical music concert at Experimental Theater, Faculty of Applied and Creative Arts, UNIMAS, last night (21st November 2019).

The concert, entitled “Exclusive Gala Concert: A Night with an Enchanting Performance of Classical Music on Piano and Flute from Hungary” features performances by Tímea Fábián and Eszter Illés.

Also present at this event was Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic and International) UNIMAS, Professor Dr.Ahmad Hata Rasit, Ambassador of Hungary to Malaysia, His Excellency Mr Attila Kali.

Professor Dr Ahmad Hata in his speech said that UNIMAS always encourages and supports diversity in many forms includes art and culture.

“We also hope with this cooperation, between the Hungarian Embassy and UNIMAS, would open more potential collaborations in the future, such as bridging higher education institutions between both countries, which enables UNIMAS and higher education institutions in Hungary to embarked on strategic partnership that would be beneficial to both countries, and strengthen the bond for another 50 years and beyond,” he said. 

The concert is part of the activities by the Embassy of Hungary to celebrate the 50th year of diplomatic ties between Hungary and Malaysia and at the same time with the hope of strengthening the friendship between two countries for more years to come.
